Mark Cooper, M.D.- Chief of Radiology
Mark W. Cooper M.D, M.B.A is a fellowship trained radiologist who is intimately involved in the business of medicine, providing practice management assistance in radiology practices throughout the U.S.  His involvement as a member of the ACR managed care committee provides NextImage Medical with the necessary guidance to create a nationwide imaging company, capable of instituting best practices and benefiting their patients and clients.  The appropriate utilization of imaging with quality assurance and state of the art turnaround times is the paradigm that Dr. Cooper is creating for NextImage Medical.

John Aalbers, M.D.- Chief of Neurology
Dr. John Aalbers is Board Certified in both Neurology (by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) and in Electrodiagnostic Medicine (by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine).  He is an active member of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (A.A.N.E.M.).  As a member of the clinical faculty at UCSD Medical School, Dr. Aalbers has over 30 years of experience teaching neurology residents and fellows how to correctly perform Electrodiagnostic studies.


Ramin Raiszadeh, M.D.- Chief of Spinal Surgery
Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Ramin Raiszadeh is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the complex field of adult spinal surgery. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he received the Paul Harrington Award for Research. He also completed a specialized internship and residency program at Baylor before achieving the highest level of medical education and fellowship training at the University of Texas Medical School.

Dr. Raiszadeh uses an extensive variety of non-operative, minimally invasive and complex spinal reconstructive procedures to comprehensively improve his patients’ spinal disorders caused by adult degenerative diseases, tumors, traumatic injuries, spinal deformities, and infections. It is his philosophy that no one should be restricted from enjoying life because of spinal ailments. Therefore, he uses the most advanced non-operative, operative and rehabilitative treatments to allow patients to return to their normal activities as quickly as possible.

An exceedingly skilled surgeon, Dr. Raiszadeh has had multiple articles on operative techniques and ambulatory surgical procedures published in pre-reviewed medical journals. He is frequently invited to guest lecture at medical conferences throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia, including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons in Boston. In addition to his private practice, research publications and guest lecturing commitments, Dr. Raiszadeh is an active member of professional organizations such as the North American Spine Society, Western Orthopedic Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Miriam Griggs, M.D., FAAPMR.- Doctor of Physical Medicine
Dr. Griggs was trained as a Physical Therapist at Old Dominion University in Virginia. After practicing in outpatient orthopedics she attended medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School and specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She learned Medical Acupuncture at UCLA in 1997 and has integrated that into her patient care. Dr. Griggs has been practicing in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona since 2000. Her special interests include muscular disorders, women’s medicine, non-narcotic chronic pain management and standardizing reproducible measurements and outcomes in the rehabilitation field.
